Angell said he is looking forward to “working for my son.” Cameron has recently earned several certifications, acquiring his LP gas certification in 2014. He has been working with his father since his high school years and is knowledgeable about plumbing and related fields.

Now after 34 years, he has begun a four to five-year process of turning the business over to his son, Cameron Angell.Ĭameron, who also lives in Turner just down the road from his dad, graduated from Central Maine Community College in 2007 with a business degree. The conversations and jobs they did were wonderful training for the young man.Īngell started his own plumbing operation in 1984, deciding Turner would be where he’d establish his home and business. Angell remembers fondly riding with his elderly boss to and from jobs as an apprentice. Immediately upon graduation from SMVTI, he was hired by a family plumbing business in Farmington. Originally from Leeds, Angell followed his brother’s suggestion, and the Turner businessman has never looked back. Unsure of what he wanted to do, his brother suggested he investigate Southern Maine Vocational Technical Institute (now Southern Maine Community College) and its degree program in plumbing. TURNER - Pete Angell graduated from Leavitt Area High School in 1978.
